Nick Ling, the chairman of Tyacht company, was invited to give the students from College of Food Science a lecture on employment and business-start in April 14,2009.

In the meeting ,Mr. Ling took examples and evidence to put forward the new ideas of "intern+employment" and "obtain employment in an attitude of starting business" to encourage student to do early preparation for laying a good foundation for further career development.

Some graduated students are still very confused with what to do after graduated. Mr Ling indicated the most important is to arrange the career direction according to the principle of career planning as well as the personal condition.He hopes that students can have complete analyzation of themselves and then set up a goal, also exchange ideas with full experienced people. Surface is not enough.Mr. Ling gave wishes to every students to be an excellent business-starter with wisdom, bravery ,action and learning ability.

“As for students who are competent, it’s good to start business themselves .It will spur the employment of surrounding students which is a big contribution to solving the employment problem for the society.But rational thinking is meanwhile demanded, it will help you to avoid business failure if you have chosen the suitable project to develop.”He said.

At the end, Mr. Ling took Tyacht company as example. He pointed that no matter which of them you have chosen, you will absolutely meet various difficulties, so the most important is not which road you have decided to follow but how to going on the way is what worths thinking.

After the meeting , students exchanged ideas one by one with Mr. Ling in terms of career planning and business management. The students said that the guidance from Mr.Ling do benefit a lot to them for further employment. And hope that college can conducting more guidances like this to help them lay a good foundation for employment in the future.
