Tyacht grants assessment  was held in October 24, 2007. Lin Zonghu, Dean of Energy and Power Engineering, deputy secretary of Party General Branch Wu Jian/'an, students counsellor , director of Tyacht research and development center Zhang Lixin, as well as Tyacht Company Chairman Ling Faquan, Vice General Manager Huang Jingshan, Marketing Manage Xiao Yuan attended the assessment.

202 students including 80 sophomores,22 juniors,31seniors,69 graduate students among undergraduate and graduate students applied the Tyacht Grants . After careful discussion and evaluation, 36 students were fund-aided.

Grants for poverty-alleviation has been given great support and attention by the whole society, Lin Zonghu and corporate executives attended the assessment meeting, which demonstrates that college leaders and Tyacht Company are very concerned to  Grants ativities and students/' growth. After the meeting, Academician Lin spoke highly of Tyacht Company/'s act and appreciated the support to alma mater from alumni.
